This season Perrin Grapefruit IPA is packed with more grapefruit, a light haze, and a whole lot of juice! Just released for spring and summer, Perrin Grapefruit IPA is the Daniel L. Jacob & Co. Beer of the Week.
Our thirst-quenching Grapefruit IPA has become Michigan's warm weather requisite for a balanced and refreshing craft beer. With aromas of citrus and tropical fruits, a delicate grapefruit tartness and a sweet malty backbone ending in a clean finish; this IPA is the first of its kind. Cheers to short sleeves and long days!
Made in Michigan, Perrin’s original Grapefruit IPA is a 5% fruit India Pale Ale.
This past weekend in Comstock Park, Perrin released several of their warm-weather seasonal beers to happy crowds. The Grapefruit definitely flew the quickest. Despite its name, this is more a fruit-forward beer than a hops-forward one: many people who thought they didn’t like hoppy beers were all about GFIPA.
A suggested food pairing for Grapefruit IPA is any summer salad. Try a Strawberry and Goat cheese salad topped with some walnuts. The combination of acidity and fruit pairs great with the cheese and walnuts.
It takes a whole grapefruit to make one can of Perrin Grapefruit IPA. Make sure this week’s DLJ Beer of the Week is on your summer list!
